Steeple Aston is a picturesque village situated off the A4260 between Oxford and Banbury. It is a convenient base for visits to Oxford with its historic buildings, museums and colleges, and Blenheim Palace in Woodstock.(6 miles) The Cotswolds towns of Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow on the Wold, Chipping Norton etc. are within easy reach, as is Bicester Village, Upper Heyford and Silverstone.
There is a Public House within walking distance where refreshments and meals are available. A short drive to the surrounding villages will find other hostelries and restaurants.
There are lovely walks in the Cherwell valley and walkers and cyclists are welcome. (approx. 1.5 miles from canal at Heyford)
We have a large 'natural' garden with springs and ponds running down to a small stream at the bottom of the Orchard. Guests are welcome to stroll round the garden or perhaps sit on one of the benches and bird watch.

Arrival time between 5pm and 7.30pm, unless prior arrangement.
